Privacy Policy

Type Beat Studio ("the App", "we") is a private tool operated by its owner (prod. wlytimo) to publish their own instrumental music ("type beats") to their own YouTube channel and to sell licenses for those beats. This policy explains what data the App handles.

Use of YouTube API Services

The App uses YouTube API Services. By using the App, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. The App accesses the operator's own YouTube account solely to upload videos and manage the operator's own content. For information on how Google handles data, see the Google Privacy Policy.

You can revoke the App's access to your Google account at any time via the Google security settings page.

Data we handle

• YouTube authorization: an OAuth token used only to upload videos to the operator's own channel. It is stored securely on the operator's server and never shared.
• Beat files & metadata (audio, cover image, title, BPM, key): uploaded by the operator and stored on the operator's server to produce and publish videos.
• No visitor tracking: the App does not collect analytics or personal data from website visitors.

Purchases

Beat licenses are sold through Polar, which acts as the merchant of record and processes all payments and buyer data under its own privacy policy. We do not store payment information.

Data retention & sharing

We do not sell or share data with third parties, except the service providers required to operate (Google/YouTube for publishing, Polar for sales). Media files may be removed from our server after a video is published.
