These terms govern the use of Type Beat Studio ("the App") and the purchase of beat licenses offered through it.
The service
The App is a private tool operated by prod. wlytimo to publish original instrumental music to YouTube and to sell licenses for that music. Administrative access is restricted to the operator.
Licensing of beats
- Beats marked "FREE" may be used for non-profit purposes only, with credit required (e.g. "prod. wlytimo"). No use on monetized or streaming platforms without a paid license.
- Paid licenses (MP3 Lease, WAV Lease, Exclusive) grant the rights described in the license file delivered with each purchase. The Exclusive license is sold only once per beat.
- The underlying composition remains the property of prod. wlytimo unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Payments
Purchases are processed by Polar as merchant of record, including applicable taxes. Refunds and billing are handled under Polar's terms.
Third-party services
The App relies on YouTube API Services (subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy) and Polar. Availability is not guaranteed and may change if those services change.
